5 stars: This iPad Bamboo case is best of class at the best price, August 3, 2010

: Bamboo Case and Stand for iPad and iPad 3G
I have researched many other cases and this idragonmoss case s the best among the bunch for several reasons.

1 Its a unibody which means that its just 1 solid piece of bamboo and not two thin pieces like the more cheaper bamboo caes.
2. It has an open top design which means it can receive and send signal from wifi and 3G without being blocked
3. it feels great and doesnt try to hide its bamboo past
4.Although i prefer the plain case, it can be laser etched for an extra fee
5. Its the cheapest bamboo case for this type of design

I really love this case, hoping that they make a hardwood version in he future.

4 stars. Great sleek looking and safe case, November 30, 2010 By Danny … –
This review is from: Bamboo Case and Stand for iPad and iPad 3G
I looked at every possible case for my iPad, but really wanted something durable yet very good looking. I seen wood cases and just loved the look. Some are very expensive and other not so much but having some limitations. This case is a great value compared to others. What I really like was that the top is opened up to get a better signal. I read other comments left from people who bought other cases that were fully covered on all sides and they complaining that they couldn’t get any signal at all. I was scared of that and why I chose this one along with the nice price. I get great signal strength and your iPad will not fall out from the opening slot. It is VERY tight inside and is ever hard to get out once it is in so don’t worry about that at all. The inside has protected fabric so it won’t scratch your iPad. The only thing I had trouble with is that the bottom opening where you plug in your charging unit. I use my iPad a lot to watch videos from the net, and I plug it into my big screen tv to watch. The VGA cord that is need to plug into it is way to big to fit, so I had to take it out of the case all the time which is VERY hard to do. I finally made the hole bigger with a small sanding tool I had and now it all works perfect. So remember your VGA adapter will not fit unless you make the bottom slot bigger yourself.

DragonMoss Bamboo iPad Case and Stand was reviewed by padgadget.com

http://www.padgadget.com/2010/10/02/dragon-moss-zen-bamboo-ipad-case-accessory-review/

Lots of people like to customize their iPad to reflect their personality and their individuality. An iPad case is a great way to quickly and easily change the look of your favorite gadget and what better way to stick out than with a case made entirely of bamboo?

The two guys behind Dragon Moss started the company with the goal to “realize the potential of the iPad protective casing as a canvas to showcase their creativity and personality.” After playing around with their Dragon Moss Zen Bamboo iPad Case the past few weeks I think they have definitely achieved their goal.

We received a Zen Series Bamboo iPad Case for review and the first thing I noticed when taking it out of the box was how solid the case felt in my hands. The case isn’t heavy, it’s actually fairly lightweight, but the rigid feel was unexpected considering it’s made from bamboo. Dragon Moss uses natural eco-sustainable wood or bamboo for their cases and the interiors are lined with a soft fabric material to provide some extra protection and keep your iPad from getting scratched. The case has smooth natural curves and a clear coat gives the case a nice shine which provides a layer of protection for the cases’s natural material.

I liked the well thought out design and extra touches Dragon Moss includes with the case. The case has cutouts for all the iPad ports and controls so you have full access to everything while the iPad is inside. This design also allows for easy docking and charging without having to take the iPad out of the case.

It’s easy to slide your iPad into the case and once fully inserted it is very secure. Two special stoppers on the inside of the case keep your iPad secured and helps prevent the iPad from accidentally sliding out while you are carrying it around. We found the stoppers did a great job of keeping the iPad in the case, so well that it was somewhat difficult to get my iPad back out without some forceful shaking. I later learned Dragon Moss has some great tips on their blog on how to easily remove your iPad without shaking or even touching the screen.

Dragon Moss even includes a nice wood or bamboo stand that can be used with your iPad when it’s in the Zen case or without the case. The addition of the stand is a nice touch and definitely comes in handy when you want to use the iPad hands free.

Dragon Moss plans on offering both laser engraving and hand painted designs for the cases in the future so be sure to check their website for some of the designs they’re planning.

What I liked: The Dragon Moss Zen Bamboo case for the iPad is very well made, feels great and has a beautiful natural look. It’s a unique case and one that’s sure to get you lots of looks and questions from other people when you’re carrying it around.
What I didn’t like: Can be a bit hard to remove your iPad.

To buy or not to buy: If you want a unique and beautiful feeling case, the Zen Bamboo iPad case is high on my list of recommendations. For about the price of a normal iPad case you get a hand finished unique case which is sure to be a converaation starter whenever you carry your iPad around.

DragonMoss Bamboo iPad Case and Stand is showcased in appcraver.com

… the Bamboo Case and Stand for iPad by Dragon Moss distinguishes itself as the only unibody case and claims of less interference with your Wi-Fi signal. Dragon Moss’s case also has a “rustic” design that is a little more square, a little less sculpted and, overall, feels more organic than the others.

The Dragon Moss Bamboo Case, Stand and Packaging Photos

without comments

I am happy to report that after many changes and revisions, the final product is released. We made a small quantity of the cases and stocked our US and Germany warehouse. We also designed a really good looking case. This is a 100% recyclable paper case. We took hints from the original iPad case design. We also considered the need for protection and the small size for shipping. Here are the photos of the case, the stand and the packaging. I am very confident that the customers will be very pleased.
