Dragon Moss began as an artistic casing company for digital products between two good friends who wanted to realize the potential of the iPad protective casing as a canvas to showcase their creativity and personality. They have chosen to pay homage to skateboard deck art and design through the iPad's wide surface area as a platform for original art work.
Made of beautiful wood, skate decks have had a rich tradition of being affordable and functional works of art. Decks usually end up being scuffed and worn out to the point of obliterating the design on them but that's part of their beauty as well.
At Dragon Moss, we wanted to make iPad cases with some of the most beautiful materials we can find in wood and bamboo and put beautiful images on them, so that you would want to share it with people and act as a conversational piece of artwork. We also wanted people to eventually be able to customize their own cases and let it become an extension of their own personal style...as well as protect their cherished iPads.
We believe in our product, the merits of hard work, our community, and we hold ourselves to the same standards of craftsmanship with all our products: we don't take shortcuts and we greatly value creative vision and we support talented artists of all creative walks who are trying to make a go of it on their own through a variety of partnerships. We do what we do because we like to do it.
We want to make solid products that feel, smell and look great. Like all beloved objects, Dragon Moss cases will age and get darker with use.
